Traffic Light Post N scale (Lighted)

Each N scale traffic light post contains a red, a yellow and a green LED light.  About 10 inches of wire are provided to connect the light post to a nearby Traffic Light controller.  Current limiting resistors are provided at the ends of the wires to prevent burnout of the LEDs.

To install, simply drill a 5/64 hole in the layout and drop the resistors and leads through that hole, then set the base of the post into the hole.  A dab of glue can be used, but is seldom really necessary.

Note; Care must be exercised when handling and installing the unit.  The wires are transformer wires with a thin coat of varnish to insulate them from one another.  If the wires were to be dragged across a sharp edge, the varnish can be scratched which might ultimately result in a short circuit and a malfunction.
