Traffic Lights
The Traffic Light controller is a small electronic circuit
board containing timing and switching electronics to drive a modeled automobile
intersection of traffic lights. The circuit board is typically mounted
under the layout near the intersection and the leads from traffic light posts
are connected to it. The controller circuit needs to be powered from a 12
volt DC power source.
Each N scale traffic light post contains a red, a yellow and
a green LED light. The post is connected to and run by the Traffic Light
Controller. Typically, four of these posts make up a four-way
intersection.
Traffic Light Post N scale (Non-lighted).
Dummy light posts are also available without lights or
wiring. These can be used in locations where the lights cannot be seen
when viewing the layout.
